getting ready

Kaleigh and her assistant arrive at the first getting ready location. Kaleigh photographs all of the details (dress/tux, shoes, bouquet, jewelry, etc.) while her assistant photographs the wedding party hanging out and getting ready.  Ideally, makeup is finishing up at this time so that Kaleigh can photograph the finishing makeup touches.  After everyone is dressed, Kaleigh and her assistant depart for the second getting ready location!

Pro tip:  Be sure to let mom and wedding party know to be dressed before the couple dresses so that they are camera ready!

Ideally, the groom is mostly dressed when we arrive. After the groom finishes dressing, Kaleigh and her assistant depart for the ceremony  location!

family portraits

We do family portraits right after the ceremony because everyone you need will be easy to grab. If you can give your family notice that we’ll be taking pictures immediately after the ceremony, that will also ensure that no one wanders off. We’ll help you create a list of family portraits before the big day by sending you an easy checklist around the same time we plan the timeline!
